I believe that anybody who wishes to embark on writing a book should be congratulated.  Especially when sitting in front of a TV or computer is so easy these days.
As for using the Saint as your inspiration well you could do a lot worse.
Which brings me to the point.  Hopefully we are all fully paid up members of the Saint Club,,,,,, Or will be very shortly.  For those who have always yearned to write what about a friendly challenge....that is to write a short story featuring the Saint.  It can be set in any location and in any time frame.  Then collated and for a small fee sent to our members via e-mail.  The proceeds going to the Saint club.
Maybe the best story winning some merchandise from the Club?  It can be as short or as long as you like. Isn't there a book in each of us.
Just an idea  any thoughts
