Hello Ian!

 

I see a different side of Ross Kemp since seeing him in Extras; I can’t
help but feel he bought some of that role into Eastenders when he went
back. It might just be more RP on his part, but I’d have to agree with
the comedy element.

Watching Eastenders the other night--my excuse is that I was suffering
from temporary brain death due to the current heatwave--it occurred to
me that Ross Kemp, who plays Grunt Mitchell, would be an ideal candidate
for the role of Hoppy Uniatz. 

 

Mr Kemp has a CV littered with thuggish roles of various unintelligence
but ever since he blundered back into Eastenders he seems to have
developed a tendancy to try and add humor to the role...given the right
script and the right Saint I'd think he'd be marvellous (and that's the
last time I'll go on record to say that about him in a role!). 

 

What does anyone else think? Will anyone else even admit to watching
Eastenders?!!
