I think it would be nice if someone brand new could be discovered, then put
that someone in a period piece, early 1930s, and if well done, perhaps the
franchise could move on from there. (And, preferably, someone who has read
Charteris, something Kilmer clearly did not or he would not have bastardized
the idea as much as he did: Never forget, Kilmer told the producers the
storyline he wanted when they met in Austrlia.)
