As I understand it, Geoffrey is a restaurateur from Mayfair, with no
acting experience.
As much as I love the family and the connection - I'm hoping that this
rumour is not accurate

incidentally, having seen the 21/2 minute trailer for Casino Royale...
I am very much looking forward to Daniel Craig as Bond - the movie
looks very good.
