[Theepistle] Just a reminder...

What intrigues me is the 1p difference between the two volumes if you buy
them as new from Amazon UK. Which is 25p more than their pre-release price
and about 10p more than they were last night...

In UK, I find bestbookprice.co.uk a useful source of information:
int+v+1.html>
<http://www.bestbookprice.co.uk/Product-266239/0340963638-The+Best+of+the+Sa
int+v+2.html>

I'm not at all sure why there's such a discrepancy in terms of
availability/pricing between the two books, nor why only Volume 2
gets a picture of the cover.

Real bookshops are my preference, but they get fewer every day. Of
those that are left, I find Waterstones generally at least
reasonable. The staff seem to understand about books and
publishing! And (mostly) that customers may not know exactly what
they want, but they will usually recognise it once the assistant has
helped out by navigating through the shop's layout or computer ordering
system.

Hope this helps,

Tim
