I hate to be a kill-joy, but...

WHY?  For goodness sake WHY????  The plot outline sends shivers up my
spine, and I must say I fully agree with the Kilmer comments - this
sounds utterly DREADFUL! What is this obsession with "back story" all
about?  Secret organisations?  Templar taking orders?

Surely this must be a 'May Fools Day' gag?

And I was so full of hope...

I'll give it a shot but I really don't understand the need for
unnecessary change. Have they learned nothing from the Kilmer
abomination? Sigh.
