Hello!

I have only just read the plot outline at www.lesliecharteris.com and am
outraged! Can't these people read? All that they need to do is study the
original works of Leslie Charteris to see just what it is that made The
Saint so popular in both the UK and the US for so long. If, on the other
hand they can't read, I know some twelve year olds who would read to
them (for a fee). For instance, my grandson would do that very job.
Secret group of Knights Templar indeed!

I read the plot... I dont know, I think there are a lot of things not 
important for a ST fan. The Saint just a code name? Like "007"? He's
part of 
a secret organization? Why?

I understand producers need a beginning that capture attention of the 
general audience with a product like "Jason Bourne", Daniel Craig's
James 
Bond, "Jack Bauer of 24"... But The Saint is just an adventurer.

Naturally it's just a plot. I hope screenwriters got the Charteris
essence 
of the character:)
