When Ian first asked if anybody had seen a copy  of The Mammoth Book of
Best Crime Comics it got me curious, so I googled it and found a number
of dealers offering it and most mentioned it contained something by
Charteris. Amazon was offering it for around $12, postage free (as I was
ordering something else) so I decided to take a chance. I was
disappointed at the absence of The Saint, but it is an interesting
collection of strips and comic book stories. I cracked up when I came
across a comic book story, set in my home town of Blackpool. Probably a
first and only and worth the price of the book.
