[Theepistle] Hmm...

Being a typical bloke I tend to reach into my wardrobe and grab the first
thing to hand, and it's highly likely it'll have some form of the logo on
it!). And you can guarantee it'll prompt some sort of comment from someone,
usually polite, surprisingly.

Wore a tee-shirt with it on down to our local farmers market a week or so
ago. Ended up talking at length to one of the stallholders who "tortured her
teenage daughter" (to quote her directly) with daily episodes of the Moore
series. Talked at length about how she really should go and buy the Network
DVD box set-if only for the extras!-and came away with some gloriously hot
chilli relish.

But then I went to a stall where the stallholder decided that since we were
near Southampton I was obviously wearing my shirt in support of the local
soccer team.

Can't win'em all!

PS: Do not get me started on the Mail. Used to be a newspaper apparently.

Fascinating story. Ian. All the guy needed was a logo and possibly a bit of
charm and style. Considering his current situation, it's probably a good
thing that he used the RH initials instead of ST. Regarding ST's influence
on the younger generation, I was reminded of one of my infrequent visits to
my workout gym, wearing a t-shirt with the matchstick logo (it came with one
of the DVD sets) , when a young guy yelled, "Yo, Saint." He the held his
right arm out. On the inside of his arm, he had a tattoo of the haloed
matchstick figure that ran from wrist to inner elbow. It definitely trumped
my t-shirt.

P.S. Thanks for introducing me to The Mail website. Even better than TMZcom.

This article caught my eye. Can't think why.
