Yeah, that remake's an ITV/AMC co-production that will be airing soon.
McGoohan was also supportive of Network DVD's recent set as well.

By all accounts he was an oddball to work with (well, leastways many folk
who worked with him have told me so) but regardless you can't help but
admire his work.

Another actor from my childhood gone.

Very sorry to hear that..I recently read a report about the remake
of Prisoner. And it mentioned about Patrick McGoohan being supportive
etc.

He also appeared /directed some top-class Colombo episodes.
